I did end up pulling mine and placing an ABS panel behind it to assist with the vent letting in road noise. But that was only after I'd driven for a year with only deadening in place and was like "this could be quieter".

How did you do that without the abs sheet making the molle slots unusable

Longer bolts and aluminum spacers between board and panel

ETA: I went and dug up the pictures from last year.

This is at the top where you have the curve, that's why the plastic is bent. I didn't bother heating it and bending it, I just bolted it in place.

I went with a softopper for the same reasons about 8 months ago. No complaint yet.

For those that don’t know, until I found it on here the thread on the manual shifters is 12mm / 1.25

Also made a spare tire carrier for the bed similar to the FabTech but it’s angle isn’t to my liking so I’ll be giving it away when I make a new one…and trimmed the front bumper (viper cut kinda sorta) just to see how it looked before making a new one

New stereo. Felt with the 2011 the single din fits right in and maybe not as attractive to a thief.

Kinda done with touch screen units for the moment. Haven’t found CarPlay to be that great either.

Washed and applied a fresh coat of high quality carnuba wax from 3d for winter. This will likely be the last time it sees soap for at least a few months. Did some interior detailing also with their all purpose cleaner and some 303 protectant. I have not used a bad product from 3d yet, and they have a location near me.

Juuuuuust about done with my homemade catback and dirt skum bedside exit. I ripped off my muffler while wheeling so it was the perfect excuse.

Need to make some final tweaks to center the tip in the bezel as well as paint parts of it.

Getting ready for winter so got started on the DIY heated mirror mod
https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/oem-heated-mirrors-diy-mod.193528/ Went with heated Spotter mirrors instead of the highlander ones. Got the mirrors changed out and wires routed into the cab. Next up wiring the switch & relayC04F4A70-AC88-4513-A2CB-E9ECD749A452.jpg
Also added a handy water bottle holder borrowed from the 3rd genners https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tool-less-32oz-cupholder-mod.672736/ Works great on my seat as it’s almost all the way back, but you can see if it was any further forward you’d run out of space under the shifter trim pretty quick…E2C4CC88-420C-462D-A04D-858A2524EFF6.jpg

I went with a Beck/Arnley ABS left hand sensor (good for front or back) 0844269 (084-4269)
and a Standard Motor Products ABS Sensor connector ALH112. This was a passenger side only connector they didn't have a driver side so all I did was take a channel lock and pull the brackets off the old driver side and put them on one of the new connectors. They have side specific brackets but they are just zip tied and pinched on. easily replaceable.

    Both from Rock Auto
    https://www.rockauto.com/?carcode=3015100&parttype=762
    https://www.rockauto.com/?carcode=3015100&parttype=1912

This scanner will pull up to 2013 Toyota Tacoma ABS codes, ABS scans is in a different location on the scanner than the regular CEL lights but its able to pull them.

Love how low and squatted your truck looks. Gives it that mean tough look. IDK where during my research for suspension went wrong but mine sits high with the new eibach pro truck stage 2 I had installed. Maybe I trimmed too much on my fenders that makes it look taller than it is or tire choice but I was hoping to have something similar to yours.

set up consists of spc uppers, eibach pro truck stage 2 and OME leaf springs.

When I purchased my suspension it had the same part number as a 3rd gen Tacoma suspension. From what I've read/heard is that the 3rd gen is heavier than the 2nd gen. Could that be the reason why the truck is sitting taller?

Had a similar issue. I have a set of the TC cam tabs but most shops were charging upwards to $1000 it install and alignment. A buddy suggested to just bend the tabs back and add a bead of weld behind them for reinforcement. Went that route instead and added "Taco Tabs" Alignment Cam delete kit from Poly Performance.

I might sell the TC cam tabs.

I have seriously debated going with a single din over a double so I could mount my switch panel and some factory style Toyota switches between the radio and the clock panel.
