Well the new awning from iKamper mounts directly to their new wedge tent I believe, so it would not mount directly to the iKamper 3.0 from my understanding. However it was not even out when I got the OVS.

They also do not have walls yet for the iKamper one that I have seen on their website. It was also more expensive considerably by almost double. I was able to score mine off of OVS Amazon website for the same price as on their website and I got free shipping and 5% back on my Amazon card. I paid less than the price of just the iKamper awning for my awning and all 3 wall sets. The only real big difference I see is that the iKamper has the aluminum housing.

Not saying anything bad about the iKamper one, I don’t really have any experience with it.

that makes a lot of sense. i guess i was picturing something different from ikamper, like the awning you have with walls.

like a combination of these two products
    https://ikamper.com/products/annex-plus
    https://ikamper.com/products/awning-3-0

looking at your setup though, that seems like a much better way to go. especially with your heater there. nice man. im jealous

Oh I see what you mean. Yes I definitely considered those products. For me I guess I like not having everything connected to the tent and the way I am building out a slide out kitchen from the bed the wrap around awning works better for me. The convenience of the others though is that if its nasty weather you never have to be out in the elements going from awning to tent so there is that!

although we all appreciate pics of tacos and RTTs, you did post a pic of your taco, RTT, AND pup in another thread. I think the pup deserves double exposure in this threat too!

So far, 0 complaints. I feel it’s been a solid buy for the price.
I lined the bottom with stick on carpet tiles, and put in an anti condensation mat, plus the bigger mattress. I know 3 ppl that have bought it now and 0 complaints from them too.

If you’re thinking of ordering one, there’s a different 1500 wedge tent on Amazon that seems to be identical, but with 2 vents up top on either side. I thought that was a nice touch that I wish mine had haha.
