Wondering if anyone has had any experience installing a kill switch on a Gen2 Tacoma? I suspect that hooking the switch in line with the fuel pump would be a logical choice. Looking for info from people who have actually done this and know where the correct wire/wires are located and what color it is. TIA

Thanks for the response. I had seen this YT video but was hoping for some more vehicle specific info in case someone on here has already done this.

If i made a kill switch for our trucks it would either be for the fuel pump or starter relay in some hidden location.... that stated, i wouldnt be sharing online how i went about it or where its at....

splice fuel pump relay wire under the dash with a switch, 10 minute job.

theres many ways to do it. take my friends car for example. we did 3 switches in 3 different location.

1st switch was for the starter.
    2nd was for fuel pump.
    3rd was for the ignition.

you can get creative with locations and so forth

Splice a momentary switch in line with the starter wire. Requires two independent actions to start the truck. Wire another kill switch under the dash to get the fuel pump.

Been thinking about doing this for awhile, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Someday.

The switch worked great and really easy to hide due to it being so small. Quality is good.
I installed one on my truck. I also installed a kill switch in two of my buddies trucks and so far so good.
The write up I attached is the easiest method I have seen.

Been a little off the grid while out here in AZ and just came across this thread. Here's what I did a little over a year ago. Works like a champ and gives me peace of mind while parked at a trailhead. Kind of like locking your front door at night.
