trust me! I'm telling these pet owners, I need a crash course before taking on the gig LOL

This be the last time I'll sit a dog/cat without meeting them.

Im running a cat shield , maybe its helped maybe not, but its better than dealing with the hassle of some meth head cutting your cats off.

I absolutely agree. I've put a lot of thought into cat shields, etc. and I likely will install them. They used my truck today to show students and I figured I'd share for anyone interested.

My plott hound/pitty mix is afraid of everyone, if you go near her she'll just bark and avoid you (if she doesn't know you). BUT, if you completely ignore her and act like she's not even there, that gets her to approach you and then bam, new best friend. Little late for advice but you could try that for the last 2 days

Yeah, I saw some pet show on weekend where the guy keeps his back (doesn't make eye contact) to the aggressive dog and they eventually relax and just approach him.

It's pretty funny watching people ignore her until she's like "uhh why are you not paying attention to me?" Especially non-dog people who just ignore dogs anyway, she approaches them the most. My dad was also stuck on the "all pitbulls are killers" train for a long time and the first time he visited he wanted them outside. Our blue nose (Dixie) just loves everyone (once you're inside and knows you aren't a threat) and the brindle (Sydney) is the scared one, so when I told him I was going to let them in, Sydney of course ran to the couch at first, Dixie was super excited to see someone new, smelling him, wagging her tail, and my dad just ignored her as well. I told him "she's very well trained, and actually if I snap my fingers 3 times she can get aggressive to the person I tell her to", which was 1000000% a lie. I snap my fingers once and he's like whoa whoa.. no no don't do it.. I snap again, he dang near begs me to stop, about to run. I snap a 3rd time and he braced thinking she's going to go after him. Dixie just looked at me not having a clue what I'm even telling her, still wagging her tail. We all thought it was the funniest thing. Sydney is all about him now though, he couldn't ignore her forever and she made sure of that haha.

Any of you fellas or fellettes offer your trucks on Turo? The wife and I are flying into DEN next month and driving to Leadville. I'd love to guarantee myself a trusty 4WD. Any other suggestions for truck/SUV/Subaru rental are welcome.

Anyone have recommendations for windshield replacement? I've seen horror stories of rust from Safelite not removing with care but also read plenty of positive reviews as well. I'm finally replacing the OEM glass and hesitant to go aftermarket. May check the dealership too but figured if one of you has any experience
