This is a factory Highlander switch. It works and looks great.

Thanks. I got the mirrors, switch, switch connector and wires for the connector new from a Toyota dealer in Virginia, McGeorge I think. The miscellaneous wires and connectors I got from Amazon and the relay I had already. The instructions and parts list from this thread were invaluable to me. I used the heated mirrors today in the rain and I had nice clear mirrors while driving. It's gonna be great come winter. I spend about $300 or so on everything so it was pricy, but worth it.

Great job! I would $300 to add them too as I need them all of the time from later summer to spring in the Northeast.

Any chance you could provide the part numbers for the OEM Toyota Highlander switch and wiring? I would love to install the switch in the blank that is there for it. (baby steps: you have to start somewhere) I like that lighted "on indicator lamp" fog lamp switch has too: Do you have a part number for it too? It makes me crazy that the factory switch doesn't have it.

All parts needed for the heated mirrors including the switch is listed on the first page of this thread. You can Google the part numbers to find them the cheapest.

The parts numbers for the fog light switch are pt297-35070-as for the switch and pt297-35070-sh for the plug and harness. I had to use a relay to hook the switch up because the stock switch uses ground as a trigger and the fj switch uses positive as a trigger.

    what are those?
so, I am a bit embarrassed to say this kit has been sitting in my garage for about a year and a half now but I am finally ready to install, other projects too priority.

I have one question, for the fuse tap, what do you do if you already have something tapped into the accessory fuse? I have my dash camera tapped in there.

Is there another suitable fuse to tap?

    please let me know.

I used the kit made by OP, I have to say they were probably the most detailed and easy to follow mod instructions I have done so far, it takes time routing everything and making it look clean but I am extremely happy with the outcome and quality of these.

I used spotter mirrors that are heated but the harness came from OP.

    Hi there,
Seth McMillan here in Alaska. I found your heated mirror kit on TW. Nice job!
    I'd like to order one.

20 min switch under the A/C, green.

I can pay via credit card or PAypal.

    What's the wait time?

    Regards, Seth

Not sure he does it anymore and he no longer offers 15 minutes per page 1.

Think the 15 min timer is not offered for the left hand side of the steering wheel, the mirror adjust switch is a different one.

    Hi Everyone,

I know it's been a long time since I've been on. Over the years my business (outside of TW) has been continuously growing and taking up a lot of my time. Every time we hire more employees or add / upgrade machinery we just get busier and and end up back at square one lol. Currently I'm in the process of selling the business and that needs to be my top priority as far as where I am focusing my energy.

With that said I'll be taking this winter off from making any heated mirror kits. I am sorry if you've messaged me and I haven't replied back. It's nothing personal, I just haven't been on here for a number of months.

I will be back next winter though and ready to get some kits shipped out again! If things go well and I end up with some free time before next winter then I'll update on here. I have a number of kits that are mostly done (I build them in batches) so if I do have time to complete those then I will probably post them for sale in here.

I hope you all are doing well and enjoy the holidays!

    Jaimes

Thanks for the clear explanation & update. Look forward to buying if you ever decide to start producing & selling these kits again. Happy holidays.
