My truck is not wanting to start in the mornings. It’s been around -10 degrees in the morning which does help but it’s not related to the battery. I parked it in the shop overnight where it warm and it still didn’t crank. I replace the started last year which is what I thought it could be but now I’m thinking it could have something to do with the ignition? All of the light will turn on when I start it but that’s it. There is no noise or movements happening at all. Any advice on where to look next would be appreciated

    How did you determine that?

I replaced the battery 2 months ago and both terminals are clean.

Just thinking the battery is often the problem. 2 months old *should* be ok, but sometimes they fail early. It's free to verify that's not the issue. Next is the main cables connecting the battery. While terminals may be clean, the cable can deteriorate within the insulation. Again, free to inspect.

Thanks everyone. Ended up trying an aftermarket switch (never knew what it was for) that lead to the battery, not sure what it is but when we switched it back on and got the battery cables cleaned up, it started right away. Will see what tonight cold temps bring and see if itll work tomorrow morning
