I bet the extra weight will help a bit. And yes, despite being lifted 2.5 inches and running 285s, the truck handles like a sports car.

 

Sorry for the late reply. I had to take my front mud flaps off along with some trimming. I will probably have to get a cmc/bmc done on it and use a heat gun to remold the inner fender liner since I still rub on sharp turns.

 

Ah bummer was hoping you were able to keep the mud flaps. are you using aftermarket UCA's?

 

Yes, I went with Dirt King UCAs. I think I might have been able to pull it off if I went with SPC instead but I think with my wheel and tire specs (17x9 -12 offset, 33s), I probably would have rub either way.

 

yeah I'm in a similar boat. I have OME UCA's to go along with my fox suspension that Im going to add shortly. I know 0mm offset is the safest but i'm a big fan of the look of the Summit wheels.

 

I’ve posted here before, but I just added the Eibach Pro Lift Stage 2/Headstrong AAL/ and BF Goodrich TA/KO 2 285/75/16’s. This is it in its current state.

Love seeing the cement tacomas! Used prices are a bit too crazy so I ended up ordering a lunar rock 6mt OR which looks kinda cement in low light
