Thanks, my first try, gotta say my passenger side came out a lot better. Now looking for some driver side flares so i can match them up, i did 2.5 on driver and 2 on passenger, kinda like the 2inch better.

My current center console setup. Samsung 7-in tablet leveraging my phone's hotspot wired into the cigarette lighter. Been using it for maps and I guess you could watch videos on it as well. I didn't connect the Bluetooth to the Tacoma's bluetooth system. I prefer to have my phone connected to the Tacoma bluetooth stuff. I learned from the Mercedes not to have screen envy. I upgraded the Benz and put a custom non-stock screen system in it and it never worked quite right. This setup actually works really nice. Facial recognition on the tablet. My phone treats the truck as a safe space, so it's only a single log on. I've been running this way for a while tweaking as I go. The tablet isn't as responsive as my phone, but if all I'm using it for is navigation it works just fine. I finally installed two coolpow magnetic mounts for the back of this thing. Oh yeah, I also wrapped the back of the unit with a flat black vinyl wrap left over from my failed attempt at wrapping the rear bumper.

@4xinnovations Rear HC bumper installed today. I am incredibly happy and impress with the work and craftsmanship of this bumper. The quality, attention to detail and thoughtfulness that these guys put on their work is just unreal.

If you are looking to outfit you truck, you should keep this guys in mind. Their stuff is bullet proof. Thanks @traxman25 for everything you guys do.

Unfortunately we are having some bad weather so swings outs will have to wait. But I will get some more pictures in few days when is all done

Installed a new alternator in the parts store parking lot. Drove 7 hours enjoying properly functioning electronics.

It's only 3 sockets to do the job, this truck can be a privilege to work on.

What exactly did you have to grind? I have the usoffroad and want reinforcements but I know most dont fit natively on the usoffroad without modification.

This was the objective for me as well. Turning the whole tailgate into a more robust tool. For truck stuff. I had fork trucks putting items in my bed on two different days last week. The peace of mind with this deck on board is well worth it.

    2" spacer lift, 285/70 R17's and a Softopper.

I really like this set up. I have been contemplating running something like this. But replacing my factory head unit with a single din and adding some rocker switches under it.

So far it's been very serviceable. My 2015 has Bluetooth integration, so I didn't feel the need to change that out. Out. Like I said in my other post I did that in another car and it never worked. Quite that well. I'm sure a new head unit from a major manufacturer to replace the existing one would work perfectly. I just didn't want to spend the money and I had a 7-in tablet laying around. The biggest problem for me was figuring out how to mount it. Those two magnetic mounts really work well. It kind of rests on the lip just below the CD changer . My phone mounts next to it but the mail for that is not quite as strong and I may try and figure some other configuration for my phone. All in all, I do think this is going to be a long-term solution for me. Once I build out the back, I'm going to get some kind of articulating arm for a bigger tablet so I can watch movies and videos back there.

One last thing. It's really nice to just go into the truck and have my phone auto connect. In the other car in which I did this, the new screen competed with the stock Bluetooth setup. I do a fair amount of talking on the phone while driving.

I had to cut off 1/4" of the bumper mounting plate (red line)

These are the cut lines I made just above the welds.
