I think the standard size backlit knobs from Tacomods are visually the most appropriate for the radio and vehicle's interior. VERY happy I did this mod.

I also added a Screen ProTech screen protector to the instrument cluster screen, infotainment screen, and shifter. Hides/prevents scratches on the instrument cluster plaster (seriously, that things scratches if you look at it funny), and keeps most fingerprints off the infotainment screen.

Another cheap mod I accomplished and am happy with is (3 yrs now):

Some house window screen material, stapled to two 3/8" square dowels (one top, one bottom), and hung in front of the radiator and condenser (behind the grill).
Top dowel holds it in place; bottom dowel just lets gravity straighten it out (enough weight, but without too much stress on the screen).
No bugs to clean out of the radiator now! Yay!
When the screen does get too fouled up with carcasses, I just replace it with another sheet. (Bought the material in a roll from Lowes.) So far it washes very clean.

Looks a lot like this, only not as wide.

This new version is rolling out from Google in a metered way. I just got the update this past weekend.
The screen will look the same, regardless of if you use Wireless or Wired.

My dongle is really good. I use the Motorola MA1 in my vehicle with an LG V60. So nice to just in the car and go.
Connections have been as good or better than my experience using wired AA.

If you really need one, I can take a photo of it up and running on my HeadUnit (8", non-JBL).

Said this in another thread, but stuffed a pool noodle in between the bed and the cab, noticeably reduced road noise. <$10!

2nd full size tailgate key. Not cheap but I found a blank on line and had it cut to match the one and only full sized key supplied by cheapo Toyota. Couldn't stand the stupid tiny one in the fob and having to search to get it out. I use both fobs and needed the second key. Expensive but priceless for me. Took key guy 5 tries to get it cut right. Said not much demand for that type.
