I got the frame bs but not that one. It’s a lame notice about a filter I replaced already. Wonder what years it was for.

Quite the selection, all the maintenance drives me nuts with my 5 vehicles lol

 

Frame bs? It's a free inspection and free replacement at no cost to you if need be. That's far from BS dude lol

 

I look at it as bs as a frame should be the one thing you never worry about on any vehicles. My letter had special requirements to qualify and so on ect. Was not impressed with it. All my other vehicles were fine, friends family vehicles blah blah. I watch mine closely as I can and try to protect it. The only neg with Toyota stuff imho. Otherwise been very happy. My 13 only has now 83k miles lol

 

Steel Rusts. Toyota are just the only ones who ever did anything about it.

 

I had the frame replaced on my 2005. My brother had his 13 checked and they just coated it with some goop.

 

And extended his warranty by an additional 3 years.

 

So my 13 got its frame checked and I didn’t get anything done to it and no extended warranty with it oh well thou it gone now lol

 

They didn't gloop it? Also thought the check auto extended it. Hmm.

 

Nope they checked it and gave me the keys back in 30mins or less no gloop

 

Pretty sure you got gyped.

 

They're supposed to coat the frame if they don't find anything. You got screwed on that

Touche! I will never buy anything from Adams. The mark ups on some of the desirable inventory when things were tight made CA toyota dealerships look good in comparison. I did unfortunately buy my Yakima roof rack for my Landcruiser from them, although I never put it on. So its for sale as of now! NIB!

 

the only thing i ever got from them was parts tbh or clips because i use to break clips all the time on that truck lol

 

Went to Jay Wolfe Toyota. I feel I shouldve gotten a frame but went about a month before and they gave me a clean bill of health. Should've gone somewhere else. They told me that that they only goop the frames on ones that are in the salt belt and Kansas city supposedly is right under that border.

Got some splitting on one side and a hole starting to form near where the splitting is. Also got a hole on a body mount. Got alpine body mounts to replace both fronts. A guy who is a master welder who has fixed these frames before that aren't too far gone is gonna do all the work on it. Gonna get that this done and ride the truck till it splits.

 

And then find one that was rolled that has a clean-ish frame and will swap everything over.
