Also I cut a little more out of the floor abs that helped with install, then made a bolt on cover 4B8A111E-2FDA-43CA-A8C1-8DF86BB4D79F.jpg

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I have a small float charger for each of the batteries. I ran plug ins for them to the engine bay. I haven't finished the project yet, but when it is done I'll be able to just plug an extension cord in that receptacle and power the float chargers on the batteries.

It's basically the same as "Shore Power" on an RV.

Well, actually that would be the male end of an extension cord if we want to be technical about it.

But why are we assuming genders here? I mean, what if my truck prefers They/Them pronouns?

Since you have the batteries connected, couldn't you just use one float charger? Or are they disconnected when the truck is off?

No, the bolts I used were the bolts that came with my All Pro sliders (if you want to bolt them instead of welding them). I welded the sliders, but saved the bolts in case I ever needed them. They are self threading. You just drill a 5/16 hole and send the bolt through it. (with an impact)

My plan is to weld a landing pad to the frame. Something I can tap, probably some 1/4” and then pretty much do something like you did.

Ok... back from 5 days at King of the Hammers.

100% changed my mind on the long travel. It IS worth it.

    What do I like best?
    A) Yes
    B) Absolutely
    and C) all of it.
