Gf was pretty sceptical of the rtt since “our ground tent works fine!” but really likes the rtt now that we have it.

as for the rest of the truck, to her it’s just a money pit that could be going towards the house.

But saying stuff like “I’ve pretty much got the truck where i want it, it just needs another like 10k to really be done done.” Probably doesn't help my cause lol

    Lots of ways.
Ill most likely be redoing my electrical but i found these
    https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07T9G2FZF/?coliid=ILSLDSW6MRIET&colid=25UVLZVWDLOZR
    And these
    https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08CGCWY72/?coliid=I3AKC7UEHI1E7Z&colid=25UVLZVWDLOZR
I like the Vgates as you can bolt in ring terminals or you feed larger guage into the holes and tighten it down.
i run a sysetm with the blue seas all in 1 unit and have a welding cable bolted to exactly where you show it, but with a stub thatbgoes to the battery.
It may not be correct, but it works

That's a nice setup, very clean. I like your suggestions I'll have to put more thought into it.

^Another option is bus bars: https://www.amazon.ca/Power-Distribution-Block-BUSBAR-Cover/dp/B07CCGCWKD/

The battery tie down can loosen over time (because it's clamping down on a plastic case) and cause the battery to shift. Any wiring you attach to the battery terminals needs to have some slack to accommodate some movement, otherwise the wiring can break.

it's an entire rabbit hole. you start and just goes on forever that way.

you can check out the Aux Fuse panel thread for more ideas; https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/show-off-your-aux-fuse-panels.308677/
but overall, if you have questions - feel free to ask away. my old aux panel is getting old, gotta clean it up and redo most of it to protect it from snow/ ice...

Actually: here is entire how-to DIY guide: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...n-rtmr-fuse-relay-block.399454/#post-11086089

see, it's the fuse box that's my issue with corrosion forming and blocking out the fuses. it's basically where i want to go but i want to do it with everything covered. that area is tiny to work with and ATM but plate is literally and old table saw deck that was cut up to fit....

have a link to the project box?

I have the same issue with my fuse block. I have had to replace already 1x. Thinking of putting it in a project box as well.

Dood, so much blue ... even your neighbor across the street pushing a early 80s blue Camaro, which IMHO is a more offensive blue than your blue, which thank dog isnt a voodoo blue...cuz I think we all agree...
