you did fine. I purchased a 17 TRD Sport with 67k for a bout the same, except no rust here in Texas.

Enjoy your wheels - my only advice is to get to know it and do your homework before you start with the mods.

Is your undercarriage rusty or something?

But yeah, Fluid film/cosmoline would work great.

Yeah the frame is looking a little rusty... with the salt and all up here, it afflicts a lot of vehicles up here.

I saw a thread recently talking about this, I wanted to just get another opinion on what to use and what would be best for salty/cold/wet environments.

    Appreciate the help!

I got the carfax from the dealer and it looked clean from when I reviewed it. Typical oil change and tire rotation every 5k. Need to dig a bit deeper and see if there was any drivetrain maintenance performed on it.

Plugs were due at 60… see if that was done. Can be pricy if you don’t do it

Yeah man... same, which is why I created a thread for validation :jpow:

I had three cars in my life, a 2002 Silverado 2500 ($3000), a 2005 VW Passat ($5000), and a 2010 Toyota Corolla ($5000). Out of all of these, the Corolla is by far the best which is why I turned my sights to Toyota for a truck. git 'er done!
