Just curious… Newer Tacos has a PnP capability to add the OEM bed light kit?

 

Yes. I think it was from the '20s on and only with models with the cargo light. Just remove the taillight, pop off the cover plate where the light goes, plug in the wire, and reinstall the taillight. They're wired to the cargo light so they go on/off with that.

 

Yep...installed the OEM bed light kit on my '22 TRD OR. Took me all of about 15 mins to install. It took me longer to find a 10mm socket than it did to do the actual install.

I wish I could buy a batch of 10mm sockets to put in every tool box and every pocket. I think most of the truck is assembled with 10mm bolts!

 

I have a 10mm drawer with lots of options.

 

I finished my dog platform this week. I got a ton of good ideas and great advice from folks on this site, I think it turned out pretty well. I used one of those surplus Army foam backpacking sleeping mats under the carpet to make it comfortable for my elderly dog, but not so soft that he can't stand well on it...

 

I did get mine installed without any major problems. Guess I was lucky.

 

Someone that cares about his/her dog that much is ok by me. Good job.

 

I was just inspired by a long line of Access Cab owners before me. Honestly it's almost like a rite of passage for anyone with a dog who buys an access cab!

 

Total Chaos bed stiffener install. Only got one side done during my lunch break but instead of wildly spray painting over the holes I drilled, this dupli-color touch up paint I had for our 5th gen has a bottle of clear coat on the bottom.

 

Looks like it was answered, but yes I think so. I decided to go non-oem route on those lights though. Like the kit that Matt Gecko has developed.

You're a hero. Would have never known this would be a problem until after install.

do the rain guards stop the window seal from rattling when the windows rolled down driving at speeds or heavy bass music ? Looks great btw, didnt know they had em in matte...
