Got some stock 3rd Gen OR headlights I want gone. Free if you can pick ‘em up in Keswick. Possible meet up in Brooklin/North Whitby on weekdays.
No broken tabs, all bulbs, all working perfectly. Just need a good wipe down as there is some dust/bug juice on them.

Have any of you replaced your sway bar links? I have a bad link and need to replace them. I'm wondering if OEM is the only way to go, or if there are aftermarket brands that will last. I see Mevotech and Moog make them with zerk fittings, and the Mevotech's look beefier than stock. Any suggestions?

 

Just ordered Moog for the 4Runner off RockAuto. My buddy the mechanic recommended them.

 

Both Moog and Mevotech (if you mean the TX- version) are beefier and better than stock. Mevotech TX has better rust protection. Moog has more pronounced wrench flats.

Mevotech is a Canadian company (headquartered in Toronto), for what it's worth.

The 4Runner's old engine air filter is Toyota OEM Denso, but surprisingly has Fram's logo on there too! Replaced it with a Fram Extra Guard CA10835 from CT.



Test fitted a replacement wheel as a spare, Touren TR65 17x7.5 +20mm, among the cheapest alloy wheels readily available new on the market, heavy. Surprisingly it has a 106mm centerbore, no hubcentric ring required, but needs low-profile conical lugnuts:



Upon closer examination, the front shocks appear to be Rancho RS5000 series, judging by the white painted body and red bellows.

 

Purchased a single tire for the spare, MotoMaster X-Trail A/T in 265/70-17 (32"). Looks like a Falken AT3W knockoff, also with severe snow rating, made in USA:
