    Got some work done today
    1. Swapped to black collar from @7r41lbr34k3r thanks!
    2. Swapped 3 hole LSP to 5 hole stock LSP for now, will cut/glue LSP-8 sometime when I feel like more torture (that install was a B!)
    3. Swapped in the aftermarket charging pad, curious how well it works
    4. Ran speaker wire from radio to kick panels for temp use until I get my amp installed, now that I've swapped out the factory speakers
Lots of disassembly for minimal gains but it was stuff that needed to get done.

Dual Battery kit is in. Just added a really nice tiedown from @Coupe, thanks! Photo of that in a bit, first up some shots of the goods for now. Need to move the Switch-Pros power lead and ground over to the aux battery terminals to complete the picture. The plan is only winch off the main starter battery, all else off aux. Perhaps I will add an SBI12 down the road for quick jump starting. Winch switch bracket from LambTek.

In preparation for a 16h drive from San Diego to the PNW where I will bring my dometic fridge and a bubbler and heater for some freshwater fish, today I ran a snake of 4x12 gauge from Switch-Pros to the rear bumper. It was no fun snaking over the gas tank, I’ll say that much. I pre-built a snake with 25’ of wire and I think it’s maybe 2+ feet longer than I’d want which further cements the 22’ length for non LB to go front to back.

Nearly there with the aux battery.

Got some fun brackets for the MIDI fuse holders. Not a ton of progress overall though. Added a gas tank skid. And before the move I did get my sliders on, they look pretty slick I think. Really need to get the darn slimline bumper and m8000 in now that I have the winch switch all figured out.

Don’t think I ever updated the sliders, thank to Fabzone.

Also, with the rains arriving, the burn ban is gone so it’s time to light it up!

The 2016 got some love today, OG bumper off, steel bumper on. It was way more work than I expected but I think it's a wrap now. Also swapped taillights to vled tails, removed my OG @Puppypunter DIR and installed a taillight fuse box from @switch which is serving up just one single ground for my topper.

I have half a day remaining before the family comes home, going to attempt to get the roof racks installed on my tracks so we are ready for ski time.

Also did brakes on the minivan two days ago but no build thread for that b/c it's a minivan. Yesterday was garage/workshop cleanup/reorg so I had lots of good space to work today. The one big downside to our garage is stairs in the center which mean that the prime parking spot / work spot is really tight with the door closed so I just did things with the door open all day and wore a puffy to compensate.

What's the current suspension setup here? It looks like adjustable fox 2.5 in the rear? How do they ride? Custom valved or stock?

Fox 2.5’s w dsc and SPC uppers. Deaver J66 pack. First drive today, not sure I can tell any difference. Stock bumper isn’t light and this steel one is heavy but not outrageous.

shocks are stock tuned. They were perfect before. I have an SSO slimline to go on the front so we will see if a tune is needed.

Did poly body mounts. Or, perhaps more aptly, watched @tonered while he did 90% of the work swapping my poly body mounts. Thanks Tony!

It was fun, except for those stupid orange clips up front.

    Very enjoyable day!
