^This - I'd bump them down to the 3rd perch so your suspension can actuate and you get the shock performance you paid for. $0.02 of opinion of course

I still have the sway bar on the truck. I don't have a sway bar relocation kit on there yet. But I was going to get one. I have been playing with the idea to remove it. But seeing as I am not an extreme off-roader, I don't see the point, it hasn't hindered me yet. And I still drive the truck on road enough to justify leaving it on.

Does anyone have experience putting some weight on the 600lb spring? I am installing them now and my truck has a hidden mount and winch totaling bout 90lbs. I talked to Wheelers, who told me to go with the 600's. I'm now considering adding ARB skids for another 90lbs. Seats are set to 4/3 (1.5" lift), I'm expecting 1" of lift since my stock front end sagged about 1/2" with the winch.

How much lift do you want to end up with?

I’m having hard time deciding which would be better. Planning on getting 6112s also. I have a full steel bumper with winch. What set up did you settled too? Thanks!

Hey guys I have read through the thread and am about to pull the trigger on some 6112's/650lb springs but am interested in experience. I have been chatting with Wheelers Offroad and they are thinking 650lb springs but I am still worried it might be too little compared to 700lbs springs but I don't want it overly stiff. Goal is to get as close to 3" without going over. (already have JBA UCAs)

Currently have 5100/887 setup but since I lifted I have added all my armor and the 887s are sagging and are softer than I want with the weight.
    2013 double cab long bed
    Full 3/16" steel skids (100lbs)
    USOffroad low profile bumper (63lbs)
13k winch with synthetic line (60lbs)
Full length sliders (not sure total weight)

I have been gathering that the 700lbs springs void warranties and are mainly built for full steel bumpers and full armor. Will 650s be enough or should I consider 700s and go with a lower clip?

What springs did you end up going with?
I like my 700's but I think I'm heavier than you.
    I'm like 5800#

I ended up emailing wheelers and getting their input. they came back and said if your front bumper is a full coverage steel bumper to go with 700lbs since I only have a low profile USOffroad winch bumper they said the 700s might be too stiff, even being a DCLB with full sliders and full skids. wheelers had them discounted but didn't have any in stock fully assembled so I ordered a set of the 6112's with 600s without tophats, and a set of 650lb springs. I am going to use the truck weight method to put them together but figured I could start with the 650s sell the 600s and then decide if I need to get 700s and sell the 650s.

Any update on how it went? Also wondering if the truck weight method would work with 650 or 700lb coils depending on the c-clip setting. Can use some of those sketchy clamps to help out though.

I haven't done this yet, suspension is still in the box in the garage. I only have a 2 car unheated garage that is tight as is so all winter I usually get nothing done on the truck unless its mandatory or break fix. Now that its warming up I need to pick a weekend to clear out the garage and do this.
