I’d be interested to know too. Had the truck for a year and can’t get over the poor response.

Should be an option in the head unit. You can choose which doors unlock with one push of the unlock button, just the driver side door or all doors. And the duration of doors relocking if you don't open one after using the key fob. Mine is set for 30 sec relock. The tail gate does not count as opening a door.

    A few.
Here is what I did in my '02 X-Cab.

Fabricobbled a fuse block in the engine compartment and added 10 A fuse to a constant hot, then ran a 14 ga. constant hot line along the frame up behind the tail light and into the bed. Also from the fuse block on a 10 A fuse I ran wiring through the fire wall to a switch in the cab. Then from the switch back along the same path with the 14 ga. constant hot. I used the same loom for both of these hot wires and some other electrical that runs to the back of the truck. Installed a chassis ground behind the tail light which was added to the loom going into the bed. Once in the bed the constant hot, switched hot, and the ground run into a relay where I installed a hobby box to house the wiring. I also split the constant hot & ground and added an inline 20 amp switch to have a separate switch in the bed. The output of the relay runs to a 10 A fuse and on to my lights in my topper. I can look around an see if I have any photos, but I don't usually document my mods/installations.

It requires lots of wire, 20+ feet of loom, 2 switches single pole on/off, a four pin relay, lots of shrink tube and some electrical tape & zipties, and a hand full of fuses. I also solder all of my connections so nothing rattles loose, loose wires make heat and arc's and those cause fires. Some people crimp, I solder. When running wiring in and out of the cab I suggest finding the plastic hole plugs and running through those at the fire wall or in the floor rather than drilling holes through metal.

When does the creaking happen? When turning or angling in a driveway?

Go for it. I plan on continuing using the same Valvoline EP 5W30 and keep OCI the same. But most likely will return to using OEM filters. The price and my OCI doesn’t justify me using a 20k mile filter.

It’s a long drive from Ontario… but come on down. :canada:

But if I’m wiring your truck I’m going to have you install tundra brakes, new belts, and plugs & wires on my 1st gen so it’s ready to go to Moab with the Midwest crew at the end of the month. :D

No riding right now, it’s the wettest winter I’ve ever seen here, trails are muddy as. I’ve got two MTB’s that feel neglected between the weather and me wrenching on the truck in my free time.
