I dont need to be one of the first, i just like to be there when the snow is melting around me, every little stream/creek is running.
So long as my trip falls on Tues-Thurs lol

April ill give you about a 5% chance of making it back there. Unless we get a 30day long heatwave starting tomorrow lol

ill be looking at the area come late may/early june.
If i dont detour and change that trip to Nevada

gotta couple new optics that need to reach out and stretch their legs

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
This was a pretty cool event last year.

Small, but it was 1st Annual. The promoter is really trying to get the word out this year, and make it grow.

No complaints with spc! I have my castor maxed and tubbed for 35s. Bushings get a little squeakey sometimes but it's fine. I never lost my camber, alignment shops seem to figure it out and get good numbers. I'm kinda nice to the truck even though I push it and haven't bent it or broken spindles or cv. I've jumped the truck, done half of rubicon twice, and a handful of other trips and adventures. I have bombed down forest roads and hit divets and water bars in the shadows and every thing has held up.

Bowman is a Subaru accessible spot. I wish there was a gate keeper somewhere to weed people out haha

@Motofox did all those roads in a Mazda 323, a friend got up to Faucherie and back in a Camry (three times) before finding us at the Sawmill, and I've rolled out of there on a donut. That bridge being out was the closest thing there was to a gatekeeper, and it only kept out people who didn't want to spend the extra hour or so required to take the other routes. It's Blown-Out Bowman for a reason.

That goes to show that the only thing better than 4wd is a 2wd car you don't care about.

Looking at some input and help getting a regear. Central Coast 4 wheel drive in Santa Cruz is the closest to me. Has anyone worked with them or have any other suggestions/experience for a shop? Willing to drive.

there’s a group buy going on right now for gears and install for 1600 bucks (check the group buy section). Just need to drive down to Riverside. The cost savings might be worth it though as a local shop here quoted double that price for gears and install.

Just checked the few that have posted. I just missed out on one and the 1600 cost one looks like some ppl had some problems with their install, bummer.

I had mine done at Schaffer's in Hayward with an ECGS-built 3rd member and front diff, both locked. No complaints.

Me too. Except they are located in Union City now. Prior to that, Alameda.

Really knowledgeable and great quality of work.
