    @kmorgan3

    I'm interested in your harnesses for a 2017 TRD passenger door handle if you're still making them. Sending you a PM.

    Since we’re into giving suggestions on how others should act I suggest you think about what you say to someone before you say it. Your previous message was extremely condescending and had you done any proofreading you would have noticed it. Then again you’re probably too dense to understand tone and effective communication. Also kudos for flaunting your virtue on how much you support others.

    Posi taps are awesome taps, and removable. Finished installing this a couple years ago, thanks man. Awesome tutorial.

    Is @kmorgan3 still doing the harnesses? I see above there wasn’t a reply. I have the handle and want to install. Just can’t decide to wire myself like post one or buy a harness.

    I am no longer making these -- they're just too much labor by hand without a lot of return. I could have my factory make these if there's enough interest.

    You could use a dual cable from door handle to the Certification ECU. 2 sealed terminals at the door connector and 2 at the CECU.

    I might just string some regular ol’ wires across like OP did. Plug and play harnesses are definitely easier though.

    I did mine like the OP did. Parts were easy to get, not that expensive and the mod itself didn’t take me that long.

    After all of these years I am still amazed you can almost immediately whip out the appropriate wiring diagram.

    Dudes. I’ve done a lot of stuff to my truck over the past six years. This was by far the biggest pain in the ass. I swear it took me at least an hour to get the handle back in. I couldn’t figure it out and ended up removing the entire housing to figure out how it went back together. I had to reach inside the door and compress the metal hinge thing while sliding the handle in. Still super finicky.

    I also broke the tab on the piece that screws in when I tried to gracefully catch it with my foot and stomped on it instead. So while the jb weld was drying I decided to reassemble everything. Got it all out back together. Put all of the tools away and decided to jiggle the handle. It popped out and I had to start over. :annoyed:

    Oh and I don’t know what I did but if I release the handle slowly it doesn’t return all the way and I have to push the handle in. Tried adding some triflow while it was installed but it didn’t help.

    Oooooooh….I read that post and didn’t know what it was. Now that I’ve installed mine I know exactly what you mean. I spent so much time trying to figure that out. Your way worked better than mine though. I had to reach inside the door for my method.

    Also that stuff that holds the plastic sheet on. Yours is nice. Mine was in the sun and hot. Huuuuuge mess peeling that off.

    I bought the parts for this upgrade a few years ago, but finally got around to doing it this week.....works like a charm! Thank you so much for figuring this out and writing up the procedure.

    Reviving an old thread...

    When I look for the part number on the first page, all the part websites say it's for the right hand side handle. I thought I was trying to get the left side handle and then flip it to use it on the right. Correct? I'm looking for the MGM handle (69210-0E080-B2). Is that still the right P/N?

    I just checked and the part number you listed is the exact one I ordered for my MGM a couple years ago and it worked perfectly. I would imagine it would still work.
