Arb Twin Air Compressor discussion

How did you mount your Arb twin air compressor? I purchased the R4T behind the grill mount, but did not order the manifold. Will I have problems airing up without removing the grill? Anything helps so post your setup.

I have a second gen so different but I went to a local compressed air shop and they made a custom line for me (in a few minutes and cheap) so I could run it out my front bumper.

A location like this it would be a good idea to have a dust cover, either ARB or DIY

Thanks boss I might just do what you did and take it in for a custom air hose fittings. Just gotta do some research on some local shops.

 

Hey brother got it mounted and installed, did all the labor myself. Was a pain but definitely worth it.

 

Nice mate, congrats. Yeah did all mine too (with a friend) other than making the hose, def gives a better understanding of these things. Such a handy mod for sure, never know when you might need it !

 

Does that ARB mount just attach at the top? Or does it have bracing below? If no supports I’m really surprised that compressor stays attached.
