So, I had already lined the insides of my doors with heavy butyl, which dampened road noise phenomenally. Today I was bored, so I broke back into the doors and lined them with closed cell foam. Then I hit the back wall with butyl and overlaid with a couple layers of closed cell.

Man, when I took it on the freeway just now...

You can hear a bug fart. Just doors and behind the seats. It's scary quiet. Hell yeah, I am one happy camper.

Completed my first set of mods to my 2023 OR AccessCab.
    • Console and glove compartment inserts
    • Replaced radio knobs with TACOMODS
    • Installed license plate lights glare reduction panels from Pretty Darn Good
    • A/C drain line mode (pics below)
    Future mods being planned
    • BakFlip F1 (had one on my 2015 and I miss it)
    • Powered tailgate lock
    • Garage door opener button for overhead console to replace the visor clip on one I currently have
I'm so glad I found this forum. I had no idea about all the things I need that I didn't even know I needed.

yup, welcome to the bottomless pit of mods.

talking of that, how do you plan to do the overhead switch for a garage door opener? (I was pissed when I found my 23 TRD OR doesn't have it built into the rear view mirror)

    Nothing special today.

    Greased the Prop shaft

Oil change with Royal Purple and TRD filter.

Walmart has RP on sale, never used it before but Amsoil has skyrocketed in price so I'm moving to a cheaper alternative.

Had to buy and install it on our 2020 OR. Totally agree that it should be standard.

I agree, and Stamping the VIN number on the catalytic converters should be mandatory!

Not much today... Wash and then Meguire's compound on the racing strips from my recent trip on the TAT in Virginia. Finished with a hand application of NXT wax.

Been rainy the past couple weeks and it definitely showed. Degreased and pressure washed the frame and undercarriage and washed the rest of the truck.

Ironically washed in all the rainwater that made the mess courtesy to the 1,000 gallon rainwater cistern I use just for the spigots. So, environmentally friendly!

It's pretty much mud season here in PA, so it won't stay clean long :annoyed:

Nope, not standard on any model from the factory. Added OEM one to my '23 Pro right after I brought it home.

Absolutely love everything about this. Would love to know what Canopy you're using here. I am currently shopping around for one. I am assuming this is line-x coated? Just judging by that texture. Cheers!

I'll take the Outback to work a couple days to maybe keep it clean longer. But, I'll have to wash that thing too! :annoyed:

Thanks for the kind words. The tent is an Outdoor Wildland Z Fold Hard Shell tent. I came across it by accident from a guy who ordered it from China. I can not find them for sale in the US. They can be purchased on the Aliexpress site (chinese Amazon) I was looking on facebook and a guy had to sell it and I picked it up for $500.00. He was taking it out of the packing material when I arrived to look at it and only then did I realize it was army green. I bought it on the spot.

The shell is Rhino Liner coated. It is a Lear topper that was originally silver. I shot it with the liner. With the black trim on the truck it matches fine. The rack is a prinsu. I have a Rhino awning on the other side.

Toyota your amazing. Relocated my cell booster and this fits perfect. Just had to dig through my random bolt bucket and found two perfect 10mm bolts and lock washers now she is centered. 20230326_184145.jpg
