Thats what you would think for being so new. Yeah I do have power doors and locks just not a fob that can unlock lock it

Hmm, I'm not sure where the wireless receiver is in the truck/if it's in all of them or not. I'd think if the transponder in the key you'd be able to add a fob to do lock/unlock just fine.

You are going to have a dealer run your vin to find out if there should or could be a fob.

Yeah when I bought my truck I got 2 keys that look like the one shown above. Its not like a super huge deal but I kinda got to the point with my truck build where I am getting super picky and thats one of those small things.

It’s probably just missing the fobs. It’s prolly like $250 to have the dealer do it. Or there might be directions on here somewhere

^^^ This. Or if you want to find out if your truck has the remote lock/unlock receiver you'd have to pull the headliner down and look for a module on the roof area (don't quote me on that, just what I remember reading somewhere; you can search TW for it there are a decent number of threads on it).

If you do have the necessary modules all in place you might just need a fob. I had fobs but hate them and did the flip-key mod and programmed myself. See this thread if you want info on that jazz.

If it didn't come with a fob, it is highly unlikely you have the body control module necessary for a fob to actually work.

If it does have the body control module, you can do a master key program with additional keys, but you'll need tech stream and actual login credentials. Unfortunately, the pirate adversions of tech stream can only do add a key, they cannot program a master key. Also note whenever you have a new master programmed, all of the old key IDs are locked out and they will never be able to be reprogrammed or work ever again.

If you have the receiver under your headliner then you probably have the body control module behind your left driver kick panel.

I didn’t know you could get a 2015 without keyless entry. Thought it was standard on everything 2005+ with power locks.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. My '03 SR5 4Runner had keyless entry, and so has everything I've had since then. Even the Scion has it.

From around tacoma world it’s very contradictory on what has it some people are saying sr5 and up and others are saying base since 2005 or insert whatever year should have it.I do think it’s kinda weird though I got two of the non keyless remotes which makes it seem like I wouldn’t have it

Oh, so you do have keyless entry? Are you wanting to ditch the fobs for the key/fob combo? I would think that would be doable, but the keys are probably kinda expensive. Maybe @CygnusX191 can get you some for a lifetime supply of McChickens. :notsure:

No I don’t have keyless entry that’s what I am trying to figure out if it’s possible. I need to figure out if I have the receiver for the keys so I could get a key fob that would allow for keyless entry. For whatever reason a 2015 vehicle doesn’t have keyless entry

I thought you said you had remotes that unlock the truck??

Edit:. I'm really confused by what you mean by "non keyless remotes"
