Check out one of these for that antenna, give you the option to raise and lower it from inside the truck.

Have you had a chance to test out the weboost? I’m really considering getting one but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Picked up a tonneau cover off market place.

Dumb question, I put it on in the rain. Will closing it up with a wet bed cause any mold problems?

I'm not a mold expert but I don't think so. I've had my roll up cover for almost four years without any problems. It's not sealed and it get's wet occasionally with O.E. bet mat. I even used it to haul all kinds of garbage. I just clean it after using the bed. But if you're worried, clean and disinfect with some Lysol aerosol to kill some bacteria.

Wired up my Amazon LED fog pods lol.. and I had the little bob job painted in MGM. It’s in the middle of a hardtail conversion currently, in case you’re wondering why it’s missing a lot of frame and the seat

It should not. The bed is not fully sealed unless you have done additional sealing. There are also drain holes in the front floor of the bed. If you are worried just put the tailgate down for an hour or so when the rain stops and park slightly uphill. . There are gaps and the corners.

This is pretty neat, I was thinking about having the option to raise and lower the antenna remotely. But I don’t honestly need it day to day, and when I do need it I plan to just raise it once and leave it that way.

What this has me thinking about though is installing some sort of motor to open and close the light bar cover on my CaliRaised premium rack. Would be nice if when the bar is activated from my spod, the cover would open and vice versa.. any suggestions?

Just the driveway test where it did perform as advertised. I was able to set my alarm and view my home cameras which I usually can’t in my driveway for some reason. Once I get out and about with it I’ll post my thoughts.

Linear actuator would work for that.

    looks like fun!

i'm really hoping to do mine this year, though other factors outside of my control are at play...

this is what happened to the last truck, that is going to happen to this truck, plus sound dampening:

It won’t, but after you drive it in the rain, check the seams along the headboard, where the fender sides tie in, it may weep some water there. I used a spare piece of close cell foam on both sides with silicone to isolate the weeping rain that ran into the box.. wasn’t much, but could be a PITA is you have something in the back ya don’t want to get wet..

In my never ending quest to make the cover of Mall Crawler Magazine and add to the chapter in my book called "Why Do I Buy Shit Like This? I added some matte carbon mirror caps to cover the crappy peeling Toyota clear coat, and these ever so functional blue rock ring bolts and valve caps on my Methods.

Finally got around to mounting my case on the prinsu rack. Not excited about drilling holes in my storm case but its been collecting dust under the bed long enough. After I mounted the first front bolts I used blue chalk to mark the rear holes and measured them the same distance apart as the front. Worked really well. Tight fit and sandwiched with a rubber washer and sealant around the bolt. Washer under the case too. All black coated hardware except the top washer to hold all down, thats zinc coated.

Did a tire rotation and installed a set of wheel spacers. Picked these up at 4WP. They were out of my typical spidertrax so I went with the G2s. Hopefully they do as well as the spidertrax. Haven’t used these before.

Anyone have any experience with G2s? IMG_6659.jpgIMG_6657.jpg
