Took care of a few more this fine Saturday. Brian and Rob, I hope you enjoy the improved drive of your trucks. I thank you for allowing me to work with you both. Also a huge thanks to @PapaRee @TWTaco for their continued support! 3F55EBEC-2C36-4E10-A595-BE54E37AAE5D.jpg92723EC8-9FF8-41C3-8F83-ED3DE33A4DA0.jpg

Yeah I do notice 6th gear holds better than before with stock gearing and 35s , also want to mention shifts seem bit smoother.

I might just swing by for support if I have a open schedule and reassure customers and to hang out with Tacoma owners

I’ve had a couple customers trying to get scheduled and never could get the stars aligned to get everyone to Hattiesburg so I went closer to them.

Thanks to John, Lindsey, Adell, and Michael (throttle adjustment), for meeting up and getting tuned, updated or adjusted!

As a side John Bryan makes a “Marinade” he markets. If you’re interested in trying some I’ll post his information below. May make it the “official” KDMAX Marinade of choice

me being a manual would it be possible to request that 7200rpm limiter? or 7000 anyways. also if this true than that guy going around posting comparison dyno graph of ott vs kdmax is comparing it to an old 7200rpm tune not v9.

Devin did you get tuned by a KDMAX tuner or do you have vftuner and flashing your own truck? PM me with your info.

that would be sweet. the old tune made good numbers and kept pulling up to 7200rpm. id be curious what top end gains there would be with a camry intake manifold swap that i seen a guy do recently. would be toyotas version of f150 5.0 guys swapping mustang manifolds

More success with 2 great guys in Dallas today. Tuned Rich @Schlucki and his 2020 Cement TRD OR with Normal, and also Jeff with his 2022 Barcelona Red TRD Sport with Sport. After his test drive Rich said he could definately feel the difference over stock.. During our test drive, as soon as we pulled out of the parking lot, Jeff said "Oh $hit... That's not possible" referring to the throttle response on the Sport Tune. Thanks to both of you for trusting me with your trucks.. and choosing KDMAX. Looking forward to more success' in the Dallas region.

Here's a picture of some trucks I had the privilege of tuning this last month. From stock, to new builds, and a regear, the KDMAX tune is for everyone! If people weren't smiling after getting tuned, I wouldn't be doing this. Let's keep the KDMAX smiles coming!

It's motivating to see all these guys getting tuned.

I will likely be doing my remote tune later this week. I sometimes pull a 4000 lb travel trailer and I'd like to know if there is anything special I should ask for when getting my remite tune? I had torque converter temps up to 231 degrees(pan was 213 degrees) when pulling up a pretty steep mountain last weekend. Here's a screenshot toward the top of the 1 mile long 550' climb. Just thought I'd ask.... I don't want to find out after the fact that I should have mentioned it before hand. ;)

No worries. Short period at higher temp is not a big deal. 5100 lbs going up hill had to pass a military caravan. My trans fluid was changed for the first time after this trip at 65000 miles. Looked slightly darker than new.

Nothing special to ask for. We have the tune already set with the optimal Torque converter settings for towing.
You should feel a significant improvement after the tune when you are towing (and when you are not.)
