2020+ TRD Pro taillights are the best looking tacoma tailights on the market. Looks so much better than the other OEM taillights and other aftermarket options in my opinion.
I installed mine over a year ago and I love them

Here is a pic I took of my white tacoma parked next to a 2017-2019 TRD Pro with the previous version of those taillights

Loose wire, randomly touching ground. My guess. Verify all wires wrapped/insulated, nothing exposed/insulation-cut while feeding through holes.

Subject to opinion of course. I liked my pros but eventually ditched them for all reds with black reverse bezel. I think the reds look better, though I did like both. I think what bothered me about the pros was the clear lens. I found it a bit weird looking. But they do well on a few of the colors. I mostly got rid of mine because the black didn’t make sense - I have no black on my truck anywhere else.

I'm thinking its a ground issue. Relays are grounded to the metal relay holder, and the negative part of the cables are grounded to the chassis. The wires are well insulated. Both circuits failed at the same time

You’re welcome! Also, I have not updated the firmware and it works. I have never needed to unplugged/replugged the adapter. Only update it if it doesn’t work properly.

Agreed! I am going for the OEM+ look. Now I am on the hunt for some 2016-2019 TRD Pro headlights, as I actually like those more than the newer, redesigned ones.

I feel like July also? I'm not certain. I know they generally run a sale around the winter holidays or just after. Keep an eye on this forum...

IMG_3593.jpg IMG_3592.jpg Changed these puppies out today and man driver side is a major pain in the ass. Remove the clips is my advice. They are hard to move but make it much easier to get to. Anyway here is my old plugs vs the new. 149k miles IMG_3591.jpg

Figured I’d post it here since the rear metal bumper thread is deadsies…

Sooo I was not looking for a rear bumper at all. One of those couldn’t pass up this deal type of situation.

    IMG_9496.jpg
    IMG_9505.jpg

Maybe someone can help me out. Looking to replace the rear lights it came with. Something plug and play, that will be wired to an OEM or equivalent switch. Just cause they’ll only be used when needed at campsites or rural areas where more light is needed.

light dimensions seem to be 3x3.25 or so.

Also I have to source some sensor caps as my truck was not equipped w that…

Replaced my key fob with the Meso Customs V2 Fob, to be able to keep my physical key in the assembly. It feels sturdier than the OEM and it's a bit smaller as well.
