Good to know. So you put the Seat Jackers on the front on both the driver and passenger sides?

I'm 5'11" - was 6' - getting old(er) sucks  - with fairly long legs (36" inseam). Wife is 5'7" with shorter legs. That's why we were thinking she'd benefit from the back being raised more than the front.

    TIA, again.

Raising the back, in my opinion, takes away support from under the thighs which can cause back pain. Unless the person is REALLY short, I’d imagine raising the front is what provides the most support.

Interesting layout for your grill lights. (I'm petty and refuse to call them the other things) What's the old quote about "good artist borrow?" Like the layout ... might have to steal it.

After waiting 4 months to get them, then another few weeks for good weather and some time off to align, I finally got the new Baja Designs Squadron SAE Fogs installed. These are certainly “sharper” than the previous version.

Depends I guess.... My V6 ECT seemed to do nothing... The ECT on my 4cyl makes a big difference.

I need to do the rear on the driver's seat immediately.. I bought my truck and never test drove it because I already had a first gen. I felt like I was sitting in a hole compared to my first gen.. rear seat jackers were a necessity for me to feel like I was driving a truck.

I'm not tall and not short... 5'10"... I was used to driving a first gen and this truck felt like I was driving a sports car. Everyone is different... I raised the back of the driver's seat 3/4" and it felt good

Did the garage door opener mod yesterday. Now I can put the clip-on opener in a drawer as a backup.
    • Air On Board garage opener switch (Toyota light blue LED)
    • Redside Electric overhead harness
    • Dual Button insert from Shapeways
    • battery holder from Amazon
    • Shrink tubing and double sided tape

I miss my 1st Gen, especially the seats. One vacation a long time ago I drove from Ontario all the way to Kissimmee Florida and then the next day to The Keys. Never felt any discomfort with the seats. Not so happy with my 3rd Gen seats.

Folks complaining about Tacoma seats started with the 2nd gens, and no electric seat in a $50K vehicle until 2021.

early mod was installing washers on back, then some guys started manufacturing a single piece for the rear (which what I installed), then the front jackers started appearing and then it became a business and costs more money.

the front jackers help IF you’re shorter……..the back lift is so you feel like your sitting in a hole.

i now have a 2021 an electric seat…..so no jackers necessary, but will install the back lift for the pax side.

These are absolutely personal preference. I’m 5’9” and I have front Jackers and I feel like they make me feel like I’m sitting in a hole. Back Jackers would make me feel like I’m sitting on a wedge and sliding forward.

Your not wrong but I think I am going to start to look for an electric seat at the wreckers.
