I think so, I paid less than half of retail so even if they were junkers, which everything I've read says they aren't, I'll be ok.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
An alternative for the spare. I bolt mine into the bottom of my toolbox. So a little safer from theft as well. I added extra locks on my toolbox as well.

I drive a lot of deep washouts and the spare was constantly dragging and at risk of puncture, dragging over sharp rocks. My toolbox is over my rear axle, so even with the spare in the bed I have room in front of and behind the spare to carry large storage boxes. I do have the 6 ft bed.

Yeah, I live in NH (kind of obvious by the license plate). What shocked me is how quickly it happened since it has only been through 3 winter seasons and two of those where pretty light driving due to COVID.

I went with Dirt King. I was hesitant to spend so much on aftermarket LCAs, but I didn't want to go with a cheap rip-off brand and the cheapest OEM LCAs I could find were around $400 each so I figured the extra money was worth the upgrade

Saturday I hand washed the truck in one of those DIY car wash stalls. Yesterday it rained. Today, the birds practiced their aim during fly-by-shatting. I love the birds, I do. I listen to them in the morning with my coffee, or in the evening when the sun is setting. I use an Android program called BirdNet, which identifies birds from their calls picked up on the phone's microphone. Free on Android, costs something on Apple. Anyway - why me? Why must they shat on my truck? :crapstorm:

I suspect that birds are so frightened by large shiny things (like freshly washed cars) that it scares the sh*t out of them.

I got you. It fits in and is snug, doesn't jiggle around but it also doesn't reach the bottom of the cup holder maybe like a quarter inch from the bottom because of the circumference if that matters to you.

Check out "Merlin Bird ID", it's free and operated by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Does IDs via picture, sound, or a series of questions. The only data linked to you is if you sign up for an account to save the birds you've encountered.

I can't help you with the poop problem though! Don't park by anything a bird will perch on? Or anywhere they're foraging on the ground? Basically you're only safe in your garage.
