I have a 23 TRD Sport DC with ugly spot welds on the pinch seam at the bottom of the rocker panels. My question is has anyone had them coated with line x and did it make them go away and dress them up?

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Pics would help to understand how “ugly” the situation is. Cheers!

Yeah. Folks have Derp'ed them in the past. But honestly, the only person that will notice them is you. They disappear amongst the other great features of the Taco, like the killer ground clearance and such.

I would just like them to go away I may buy some 5/8 x 1/16 aluminum anodized black flat bar and make covers for mine.

Well, I had to get down on my hands and knees with a flashlight, but yeah I got them too! They are pretty much concealed by my Predator bars, so I never noticed them until now. My advice, learn to love em!

There have been a few people on here that have done it and results are pretty good.

Dont cover them though, there are drain holes in them and if you plug the drains your going to have a rust issue in the future.

I sprayed mine with undercoating, super easy to mask off and spray, I think it helps the look of the truck.

Is there any adjustment on the predator step bars? If so I might be able to raise them up and hide the pinch welds.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Just wear platform shoes… the extra height will put them out of your line of sight.
