I thought about doing this to my truck. In your opinion, do you feel it’s a solid investment & worth the cost?

Just a bunch of old crap
Rear seat delete to make a platform for my fridge/freezer and sub box. Sound deadened back wall and floor, 6-channel distribution block wired to my Victron solar controller load output for 12v, and a 110v outlet wired to an RV inlet in a truck bed cubby to pass house power into the truck.

Also put in a power panel in my rear passenger-side truck bed storage cubby with always-on 12v Anderson to power my RTT, 110v RV inlet that runs to the cab to prechill the refrigerator with home power the night before a trip to save truck battery, and an always-on dual high speed USB port for camping convenience.

Which Eibach stage do you have? At nearly 130k, I’m overdue for suspension upgrades.

Absolutely. Probably the best quality of life mod for bigger tires

EDIT: though if you have a mechanic do it, the cost of labor might not make it worth it. It's a bit time consuming and takes some extra care, but not hard.

Huh, didn't even know about the intake spacer. It just increases the time the air from the throttle body gets to the intake port? Interesting

Clean setup brotha! I’ve done the same back wall panel for mounting my amps and DSP for my audio system. The biggest pain was getting the bolt holes drilled in the right place.

brand new TRD exhaust installed. sounds awesome, also probably 25 pounds lighter. more power? who knows but it looks and sounds amazing. perfect volume in the mid-upper range with barely any difference at idle and startup.

been wanting this exhaust for years and finally pulled the trigger.

Blastin the blasted love-bugs off - 2020 TRD offroad susp just installed (no leafs) with a Headstrong OR .25 spacer on the driver side.

So this is what it feels like to have actual suspension. The old stock setup felt like I was drivin a water bed

Like a dingus i forgot to notate hight changes. Def "feels" higher, maybe 1-1.25" more up front. 100% perfect for the highway warrior-ing and occasional game preserve and double track trekking

got all pissed off when I noticed a headlight out last night. Dropped fiddy on a new pair, then checked my records.....first headlight swap in 11 years/130K miles. Guess I shouldn't complain!

I have a set of leaf springs from a 3rd Gen. Picked them up for free. Will they fit a 2nd Gen and do they give any lift, like the front coils do?

@K-DubTaco yes they will fit, and the only "lift" you will get is from newer springs, they are not stiffer like the fronts and do not give any extra lift over new 2nd gen rear springs

Ah I see, I used all the stock bolt holes for the plastic bins since there is gonna be a lot of vibrations. It’s secure af but a workout in of itself to get them to catch the thread.

The leaf springs installed in my 2008 Off Road RWD, under the recall in 2016, are the same part number leaf springs used on a 2022 Tacoma. They will not change the factory height of the rear of your truck. For reference the part number for 1 leaf, on my 2008, is 48210-04380. If you go to a Toyota part site this is the same replacement spring for a 2022 Tacoma.
