    Hello folks. I asked in another thread but was told to ask here. I just recently moved to Mckinney and am looking for a reliable place to get standard service/maintenance on my truck. I have read past threads where some have not had good things to say about Toyota of Mckinney. It doesn't necessarily have to be a dealership....just someone who is reliable and knows toyotas.

    I've used Toyota of Plano(121 and Spring Creek/Legacy) 2 times in the past ~6 months for 2 different issues and they have done a good job both times. Had my truck back in 2 days both times with having to order parts for the repairs.

    Well now this is interesting. My mileage is 61,000. Toyota of Mckinney says I need new spark plugs, throttle body cleaned, maf cleaned.

    Toyota of Plano says that's b.s. Maf should be fine and plugs don't need changing until 120,000.

    I drive a Miata.
    For what it's worth, the maintenance manual states that plugs should be done every 60 on the 3rd gen Tacoma. I would also consider a trans drain/fill.

    Throttle body and maf cleaning sounds like bs however.
