    Hey there,

A buddy of mine is changing out his suspension on his Gen 3 Taco.

Im wondering if his suspension is a simple bolt on for my Gen 2 Taco.

Mainly looking at front and rear shocks, and front springs.

    Lovely. Thank you.

Now I’m curious if it fits the FJ.
    Evil thoughts.

I sold my nearly new stock front coil over stuff to a gen 2 owner who said he got nearly an inch of lift. Not sure how much of that was making up for sag and how much was different in the spring. If it is basically free you'll be very happy to refresh the old suspension!

Yeah he is selling it for…. Under market value let’s put it that way.

Running a 1.5in spacer on stock coils & shocks with 300,000 km and his is just 200,000 I’m “hoping” I will get 1in lift so I won’t need to use the spacer and can up-cycle it on my FJ instead.

Not sure that the effort is worth it for something with 200000km on it.... It won't give you the lift of the 1.5 inch spacer. I'd say hold off until you can get something new to freshen the ride up.

should bolt up to the fj.

the only difference, is the 4runner that im aware of. the eye holes on the front shock that bolts up to the LCA....its thicker on the 5th gen 4Runner.
