Order placed. Fingers crossed for a shipping notification in the not too distant future.

You can use a diode and wire it in parallel with the stock fuse if you don’t wanna lose the circuit protection. Not as fancy but it’s cheap and can hold ya over until you can snag one of the HK ones

Has to be in series for circuit protection but a diode that fails at a lower current than the stock fuse already offers that so I don’t see the fuss.

14.3V measured at the passenger side bed cubby at 1,000 RPM. This is after 18ft of 6awg welding wire so the battery under the hood should be right in the target range. Curious to see what the RedARC shows for the charging voltage on our trailer.

I picked up a 24F AGM, I noticed it rests at 13v after a decently long drive. Is the charging system getting it up to 100% or should I install the Ford Diode I bought?

Having second thoughts on the diode. Heard of a couple cases of the alternator failing soon after installing it. More stress on the alternator maybe?

It is your alternator service charge that should be hitting 14.4-14.8v as per spec on the battery. If you are not hitting that, you'd ideally want to install a booster. Lots of 'diode' options out there, if you can find one that lands within the spec range, ideally a +0.5v boost and maintains the system fuse it should be acceptable. Many of the diodes specify a wide voltage range that can possibly overcharge the battery leading to earlier failure. Be sure to use one that falls into the charging window and confirm with measurements on your truck. Falling into the window is boosting the alternator voltage by 3%, it isn't anything that is going to cause an early component failure.

    Thanks @crashnburn80

I can’t find a simple adapter to install two fuses (fuse and diode) in series. Seems like something that should exist out there somewhere.

Why is it using two fuse slots? Is the second one providing a ground only?

Just to confirm, for my 2020 taco I'll need the voltage to be boosted via ECM tuning?
