I have a 04 trd tacoma access cab, I would like to run 285/75R16's. Any pros or cons to running these tires? I have been looking at the OME lifts and wondering if the hd kit would give me enough room to clear these tires?

I use my truck for daily communting, 30 miles a day and for running around in the woods. I mainly love to go play in the DEEP snow. Main question... what is the best lift, and tire combo for the snow. Stock height and the 265's does not get me much farther through the snow than my 02 HD chevy with 33's.

One other question, where can I find the most complete lift and what would the total suspension system cost?
    Thanks, Matt

    Welcome!

Well the Ome will work for the 285's but your going to need some aftermarket wheels or wheel spacers to fit them without rubbing like crazy. You should be able to get a full lift with everything you need for just under 1000 -the UCA's

JLee, thanks for the quick reply. So is the OME the best out there? Will it sag over time? I know I will need some different wheels, will a 16X8 work? I also plan on getting the ARB winch bumper and a warn XD9000 to go with it.

I was on the toytech site and I am looking at the OME complete set-up, I will probably go with the 882 coils. Do I need new upper control arms also?

Also I work at a GM dealership so I will be doing all the install my self.
    Thanks

Well I can't say it's the best out there you can do a really crazy 3" lift that's a lot better with a lot more money. i would go with the OME or some 5100's & Eibach coils. About the bumper have you seen the Elite off road bumpers I think they are the best looking bumpers on the market and they are cheaper then the ARB. check them out the the vendor section. And i don't know if the 882's will hold up the steel plate bumpers well you might want to go with the 884's or 885's but I could be wrong.

If you have a 4x4 you don't want 4" of lift your CV angles will be BAD!

JLee, so do I need to piece together my kit to have it set up the way I need or is there a kit I could just throw on?

BTW those elite bumpers are awesome, I think you have changed my mind on bumper choice. Will the warn xd9000 still fit in it?

2 other things... will I have to get new uca's and if so what are the best ones? What would be a good choice of snow tire? I was thinking cooper stt's, pro comp mt's or bfg km2's?

The OME kit is pretty much a complete kit I pieced mine together just because I wanted different things. The winch should fit in the Elite bumpers now tires i can't say much for the ones you have listed but i have the DuraTracks and I love them I have went over the summit in 2wd in a blizzard with no issues. And on the trail they out preform most of the MT's

I got 3 1/2" of lift from my 5100's and Eibach coils and stock UCA's and I'm good the 1st Gens can get away with 3" lifts without new USA's
