    Rebuilding Everything
    The Line-X has held up good so far, making it through the brutal AZ heat. I’ve had it for over a year now and haven’t noticed any warping or issues with paint. I’ll keep you guys posted if anything changes.

    It seems like everyone I come across still loves the 1st gen Tacomas and the resale prices seem to reflect that. But yes, OEM parts are slowly being discontinued. I was 29 when I bought my brand new 1st Gen and now I'm just about a senior citizen. I love this truck. The farthest I've driven it is to El Salvador. It's been all over Mexico and a bunch of the western U.S. with about 285k on it now.

    Thank you. It's a model called the Drifter, from Vagabond Outdoors. They were one of the first wedge style popup campers made for these trucks. I built out the interior. I posted a bunch of details on the build out in a discussion thread for the Drifter that used to be in the Vendor section before TW shut it down. I think it can still be found in the camper shell archives.

    I hope you're right, and if the second part of my gen1 taco dream is as at least as good as the first, I'll be a happy man.
