    Brand new.

It unscrews from behind the safety sensor , remove the safety sensor without unplugging the sensor and take it off then, You Tube it.
but remember the decal cant be thick it may block the sensor, so after it is on and reinstalled .
put a trash can out in the road and drive at it, see if the sensor sees it. i did that after i changed my grill to make sure it worked correctly.

Just to nitpick; I’ve never seen any reports of someone installing a decal that was “too thick”. Look at how much plastic is in front of the radar module on grilles with the huge T oval.

I'm fairly certain they work with just about any trans shields.

Nit Pick all you want, It's a Free Country, I wouldn't want to add anymore things added to block or hinder my safety sensor and take any chances, my families life and my own is important to me. Just saying, Happy Holiday

So sorry for the loss, but you are OK and that's what's most important. Hope you can get back into a new Tacoma.

    Brake controller
Finally got some use out of my hitch winch set up! Big double pine didnt cooperate and I had to coax it down.

Hooked up a snatch block to pull it away and down.
Had a good straight pull with the winch. Started dragging the truck and then the winch stopped...i thought i popped a fuze in the 600 amp switch till I realized the tire dragged over the controller cord and snapped it off at the plug end...winch dont work without that lil guy.. looking into a wireless controller now...Live and learn

So- I had to put it in reverse (4-lo and locked). Started slowly creeping back and dropped the tree perfectly (meaning nothing further was damaged). Was concerned that the tree strap or rope hooked up the tree would snap (or my 8yr old synthetic winch braid would break from UV damage and age, but all is well!

So- I have now justified my front hitch winch set up!

I'd did the same.i haven't had one issue with my TSS.

There is one screw back there and 3 clips holding the oval in place

1st gen - it's got a built engine, a turbo, and waaaaaaay too much to list. 3rd gen - basic-bitch lift, S/C, Pro Wheels
I haven't really been modding or working on my 3rd gen much, but did this today. Turned some steel down on my lathe until it could be press fit into a 30mm GAU-8 casing, then drilled and tapped it for the 12mm x 1.25 thread on the shifter. It turned out pretty decent.

Nervous about thickness of a sticker affecting the functionality of the sensor that you completely relocated without proper calibration?
