Replaced chrome badges with Sockmonkey black badges, painted billet grill black, K&N cold air intake, my corner light turn signal circuit, Speedfreek traction bars, RAAMaudio BXT/Ensolite, Stereo: Kenwood KIV-701 USB/Bluetooth deck, 10" Pioneer shallow sub behind the rear seat, Infinity 6822cf 6x8 front and rear doors, Fosgate P400-2 (sub), US Acoustics USX-4065 (four main speakers)
    Welcome to TW.
It is tight, but you can add a sub without losing passenger space and still have some room for storage behind the rear seat.

Here is a 10" Pioneer shallow mount in my 2003 double cab. Still plenty of room for a jacket, lug wrench, 12V air compressor, tie downs........

I went with inexpensive coaxial Infinity speakers ($70 a pair). Some people have done some nice installs with component speakers. They normally have to get custom with the tweeter since the stock location is pretty shallow. If you stick with just door speakers, I suggest sealing up the door access holes with flashing and using plenty of mass loader (Dynamat or similar). My door speaker bass got much more solid after sealing the door access holes (even with the crossover set to 80Hz).

Just finished installing 2 sets of Hybrid Audio Imagines in my doors. They run about 250 a pair. Sounds like I have a sub even though I dont have one installed yet. Search Mr. Marv if you want more info on them. Great guy to work with!!:D

I bought it from Car Audio Factory http://caraudiofactory.com/2001-toy....html?osCsid=8112a6e2134986b9faa64f82b1701be4

Here is a thread with some more info on it and pictures.

One more. Note the filing/Dremeling needed to get the 10" in there. It isn't too much work..... a lot less time than trying to build a box with my lousy woodworking skills :)

SwingCase, driver side. PVC Bike rack. Aftermarket stereo.
Door treatment will be more important than the speaker brand installed. Do it properly, and most quality speakers will provide good low end.
