How is traction with just rear wheel drive and Limited Slip Differential?

I could get by with out a truck, I just prefer how a truck drives. I'd rather drive an HD truck but that is far beyond my needs. I don't need to go anywhere with a parking structure, or into the city for anything.

 

Works great in most conditions, just gotta fully turn the traction control off button by holding it for a couple seconds, it fully activates auto LSD and gives you (almost) full power

 

I have an 11 2wd Taco and use it on a variety of low traction conditions such as snowy roads, forestry access roads, grassy fields, etc. Used auto LS many times and never had any issues with loss of power or stalling. Served me well for the last dozen years.

 

That’s not true. The long push turns all traction control off. A short push turns on AutoLSD which is basically TRAC on and VSC off (no throttle intervention).

I rented the double cab for a size reference and it was too big. I think the 2024 Extra Cab with a 6' box would be a better size and a greatly improved truck

 

I'd suggest a Subaru as mentioned previously. Ours is used for exactly what you're after.
