it was a great weekend to be out. oh and, poor layla

saturday the wfe was gone with the baby so i decided to wash and wax the taco. the paint was looking very sad. its all shiney now(until it rains tomorrow) except for the pretty good rust spot on the rear bumper. im going to have to get it fixed sometime this year along with a spot on the front bumper.

^ Looks great, you are welcome to come wax my truck...The color really becomes vibrant...

It was a great weekend to be down at the farm. The weather was terrific, I couldn't have asked for better weather. We sat around the fire and drank all day. To me it was a perfect weekend. Layla loved the vest, she left it on almost all night. I finally took it off after we went down to the pond. (yes, the first thing she did was jump in the water)

Dude, I have the exact same problem with the rust on both the front and rear bumper. Just the look of it drives me nuts.

I looked around on ebay and you can get replacement bumpers pretty cheap. Getting them color matched is the expensive part. I know people will say to get a heavy duty plate bumper, but I prefer the stock look.

not a problem sounds good! Hopefully the 5100's will take some of that rear end squat you have out. Even with the AAL and your quad runners on the trailer, that rear end sits pretty low compared to what I have seen on similar set ups here.

it's awkward with the tire on so save the beers for after. also a set of ramps would help so you don't have to spend to much time on your back.

If this doesn't work, I'm going to go ahead and get the Dakar/OME leaf pack as I really shouldn't be having these issues. I just dont really know what is causing the slopy suspension. I know people tow heavier loads more often that me and dont have problems.

Its cool, I understand. I dont really think it will be that hard buthaving an extra set person is always a plus.

Thanks for the tip, DSM just PM'd me and said my shipment is going out 2maro, so I'm hoping to get them this weekend.

That would be nice, especially when you go to put your lift on. All I have is my single car garage. FML

Yeah I have seen people on here with much heavier loads and not sag a bit. Almost wondering if airbags would have been less expensive if this doesn't work for you. Are the shocks you have under there now the originals when you bought the truck? Hopefully the 5100s are a little stiffer for you.
