Two pelican 1630s fit the rear of the bed perfectly. Had to find something that would work for an upcoming move.

Adding some L-track next.

 

Very nice. Planning on doing something similar this weekend or next so I can fit my portable battery under my fridge.

 

Started ordering parts to convert a spare cap over to a pump shower/rinse system on my LCI water cans. Got the bulkhead and hose barb fittings coming. Next paycheck I'll order the pump and hose. I already have 12v barrel plugs and I need to see if I have weatherproof fittings for the electrical cable, I don't think I do. My trip in August to the mountains, if done in the truck this time instead of on my bike, means I will have pressurized water for spraying the sweat off me.

I even started making some notes to myself, like zip ties or stainless fuel injector clamps for the barbs/connections, sheathing that goes into the weatherproof connectors as well as up to the barrel, an angled mount in the bed so the LCI can/jerry can isn't pure horizontal or pure vertical, keeping the pump in place better, etc.

 

It’s a good tool that’s what dealers and specialist shops use.

so you did the headlight services harness, and stronger bulbs? Very happy with mine.

the high wattage bulbs seem to last a little less so I keep spares. They’re only like $7-8.

only thing I haven’t done is put an anti UV coating. I have used 303 but opti lens might be better

I think I got Flosser or Osram bulbs just because both were cheap.

 

I just went and pulled the panel off to check the joint, 60 seconds to do so. Not necessarily sure what to be looking for, I didn't see anything excessively worn, the shaft/bushing moves a bit, but I have no clunks or anything to indicate there is something wrong there.

I've been running the Osram 100w/90 which I'm assuming you're referring too, I haven't ventured into other bulbs yet because I've been so pleased with these.

Swapped in my new long block! Took about 9.5 hours total for just the swap. Changed out the motor mounts while I had it out with some new OEM ones as well

Today I made a phone holder based on the A pillar mod. So far it works great. I still need to run a charge cable but that will happen another day. It took longer to get the angle just right than it does to assemble the mounting stuff. Using the "elbow" mounting arm let me get it into the perfect spot far away from the turn signal with the perfect viewing angle. The sail panel is the only thing being blocked. No windshield blockage at all.

I got a 70mm M6-1.00 machine screw w/ large Phillips head. This bolt is fully threaded instead of the original bolt shown in the mod. I placed a lock washer inside the top of the ball mount and ran the screw through that and a lock washer at the bottom. These were tightened together with the first nut with wrench and screwdriver. By tightening down each nut with the previous lock washer as I built out helps keep everything firm with no chance of the ball mount rotating once the bolt is threaded into the A pillar.

Using the 70mm threaded screw let's you build the length easily by adding more washer and nuts. I first did this with 3 nuts but I decided It was to close to the turn signal if I got the perfect viewing angle. The factory hole has more than enough space to take in any excess bolt.

Installed new Cooper Rugged Trek 265/70/17 tires. So far they are great. Comfy ride and minimal noise. I hear more wind noise than tire.

 

I’m hoping to make it but have some family coming down so I’m not sure what the plan is just yet! been too long though since I’ve been to C&C, need to try and be there

Do you notice a big difference in the trucks breaking now? Is it more responsive?
I’m tired of the spongey feeling with my stick break setup.

 

Without other mods like MC and booster, those will make your pedal feel even more spongy. Cuz the calipers take more fluid. They will increase stopping power tho no doubt
