I'm really not a fan of roof racks on the truck either. Never love how they looked. But the functionality for me has paid off.
And of course....I'm always happy to whore out a picture of the truck :) board.jpg

Rev hang reduction is worth getting the tune all on it's own.

A short throw shifter, accumulator delete and solid offroad transmission mounts (have to have the motor mounts first to run the trans mounts) all transform the shifting into something much, much better.

Today I made a phone/gps holder based on the A pillar mod. So far it works great. I still need to run a charge cable but that will happen another day. It took longer to get the angle just right than it does to assemble the mounting stuff. Using the "elbow" mounting arm let me get it into the perfect spot far away from the turn signal with the perfect viewing angle. The sail panel is the only thing being blocked. No windshield blockage at all.

I got a 70mm M6-1.00 machine screw w/ large Phillips head. This bolt is fully threaded instead of the original bolt shown in the mod. I placed a lock washer inside the top of the ball mount and ran the screw through that and a lock washer at the bottom. These were tightened together with the first nut with wrench and screwdriver. By tightening down each nut with the previous lock washer as I built out helps keep everything firm with no chance of the ball mount rotating once the bolt is threaded into the A pillar.

Using the 70mm threaded screw let's you build the length easily by adding more washer and nuts. I first did this with 3 nuts but I decided It was to close to the turn signal if I got the perfect viewing angle. The factory hole has more than enough space to take in any excess bolt.

    Home Depot hardware -
    -70mm M6-1.00 machine screw
    -6mm split lock washers 4x
    -M6 1.00 hex nuts 2x

    Amazon hardware -
RAM Mounts RAM-B-348U Ball Adapter with 1/4"-20 Threaded Hole with B Size 1" Ball
RAM Mounts Composite Double Socket Swivel & Ratchet Arm
RAM Mounts X-Grip Large Phone Holder with Ball with B Size 1" Ball

It's worth trying out. Order them on Amazon and return it if you don't like it lol. I might order the short double sided coupler arm to see how that does vs the "elbow". Eventually I will upgrade to a new headunit with Android auto but this will be great till then.

i should remake the head rest mount i had back in the day had some like 1inch box tube and built a slip over spot on my head rest and use to keep a handicam between the seats when I use to race my civic back in the day at the track events. and with as small as go pros are now would be so much easier to build a mount for multiple angles... and could 100% use the ball mounts for all sorts of extra stuff too

Pretty awesome. Ram mounts are great, I use one in my work truck.

In the taco, I didn’t think I needed a phone holder because my head unit has car play. But sticking it in the cubby in front of the shifter, it overheats there. Plus occasional I need to unplug & plug it back in for it to pair. Also occasionally I want to soundhound a song. So I got a offroam.

I made a 1" loop of weed trimmer string and used small zip ties to attach it to the top louvre of my A/C vent near my 4/4 selector. I hang my sunglasses there. Now, they don't slide around the dash and if I wait a few minutes after getting in my truck, to put them on, they're nice and cool!
Sliders, u-bolt flip, uni-filter mod, small lift, Falken Wildpeaks.... the sunglasses loop is the best.

anytime fog light mod... I swapped one of the wires from the unused seat heater relay socket, over to the fog light socket, and boom done - no extra wiring, all looks completely stock.
