    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
I mocked them up and shaped the legs to fit before I welded them. They may take some fine tuning, but they are pretty well done.

What does a spring inside the lower coolant hose do?

Causes it to not collapse. I'm not having problems now. But a collapsing lower hose was causing a lot of overheating issues a few years ago. When I was working on some things on that side I noticed the hose wasn't kinked, but it was bent kind of weird. I already had the stainless coil that was left over from when I did it to the last hose, so I figured why not.

Now I get to add re-filling coolant to the never ending list of things to do.

Don't have a Tacoma near me to look but where would one mount the forward part of said bar?

Make a crossmember underneath and mount to that or?...

    He means something like this.

And that is probably what I would use, actually.

on Matt truck specifically I would say probably off his doubler skid plate
if done right it could provide a little extra drive shaft protection if he came down onto his driveshaft and probably not give up any additional ground clearance

    I know what they are.

But was asking where the front would mount.

Some people mount them to the side of their leaf pack's eyelet although it's recommended to be as center as possible.

Also, nothing against ruffstuff, but I'd probably just buy some tabs, tube, and hiems and diy

Once you piece it all together (from them), you're pretty close to the price they are selling the kit at.

And I have a $100 discount code for being one of their Super Duper Reviewers. At $446... $379... $279, I don't think I could beat that price by piecing it together.

Actually, if I don't order the tubing with it. (and just get the tubing from Modesto Steel) it drops the price to $303... which would only be $203 after my fancy discount code... aaaaaaaannnnnnnd now Morgan just got me to spend some money.
