If it wasn't your first step your install is botched and you're not getting your moneys worth.

Wouldn't that just lead to dumping the contents of the tray out the back?

if you have the common tray with the raised sides and center divider i think you could lift it enough to not dump say a wallet / card / whatever other smalls in order to easily access below

    Hi,

This will be my first post, i would like to share with you my work, since I have access to a 3D printer and every tray on the net is over 200 I made my own, I'm posting this in order to have feedback I will share the source as soon as I print/test it, I'm not planning of selling it will donated for free to the community.

    here are some images:

Will be printed in ABS or PETG.
First image shows 2 pieces since I can't print it in 1 go, but if you have a 12" with capable printer you can do it in one go.

    update :
I will probably use it as a model to cut aluminum sheet

    update 2 :
finished printing few things to fix, the joint is not that strong, the 2 holes on the side yellow part picture 2 are not exact

I will keep working on it ...loading

thank you in advance for your toughts

So, why is there what appears to be a plastic ammunition container under your hood?

Cause ammo is like quarters at the arcade, the more you have the more you can stay in the game....

He probably has the accessories the the compressor in there.

Awesome, Yeah I learned solidedge and surfcam in college. Then didn't really use it for 10 years or so and now its slowly coming back to me lol. I mostly use fusion with a little free cad at home and I use inventor / auto cad at work now.
