It's best to go south to north. It really is only a 1 lane paved road. Granted, no one is in a hurry, but 99% of the vehicles are going north on the road.

    It is worth the drive.

Seconded. There are much better places than TC to see.

We have everything you mention here in Muskegon and surrounding. Muskegon is a logging town so there are museums about that and also old historical homes of the people who built the city. Downtown has a nice nightlife now with tons of bars, restaurants, etc. You will also be close to Grand Haven which also has lots to explore downtown. GH is a coast guard town so that is the main focus there, it does get pretty busy in the summer (I work there and traffic can be hell) but it is worth seeing. Traveling north on the shore you will also find cool little towns sprinkled about and everywhere has plenty of nice beaches to enjoy. If you make it over here hit me up and I can describe more of what you are looking for.

Hey SE and Mid Michigan, we're in town for some family stuff for a few days. Unfortunately no time to play, but if you see me running around, give me a wave (with all the fingers!)20220716_110011.jpg20230125_220243.jpg

Thx! I did a lot of saving, found deals, and some fair priced TW labor along the way for the stuff I couldn't do. Link is to the build page that needs an update.

Installed some Billie Bars yesterday. honestly did it more for the molle panels than anything else. She is just a pavement princess with a few drives on dirt roads on the way out to the mountain bike trails.

Had to do some trimming on my Gator Hard cover... but 3hrs later...

Silver Lake dunes was pretty busy today for a Tuesday, but still had a blast… Once again I was the lone taco out there.

Speaking of wheeling spots- I’m planning my first trip up to Drummond Island this fall. Has anyone been there before and can give me the “must do” and “do nots”?

I wish I was free to enjoy that!

I finally got those tires installed last week. They ride great! Glad i could take them off your hands. No regrets!

@koditten About time! I’m glad that we were able to work out the exchange and you gave the tires a good home. Be well!

I'd like to take the Badger one day to say I have. But I can't ever justify the cost

Gitchagoomie is Lake Superior. The Badger runs on Lake Michigan.

I just had to make sure peeps knew the difference.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Good to know. Black harbor, mouth of the Presque Isle river, and Porcupine mountains were clear of both.

Yeah we had to find the balance between having no bugs and wind of no wind and lots of bugs.

    2023 Trail Edition
Heyo, new to the Tacoma world just picked up a Trail Edition and am starting to think ahead about undercoatings before winter creeps up on us. I’ve heard really good stuff about Wool Wax but unfortunately the only place I could fine that’s doing it, is in Genesee County about an hour away from me, and they want $550 for the first application and then it’s $50 annually for touch ups. Seems pretty expensive from my limited knowledge but wondering if anyone near me (east coast thumb area) has found any spots to do it or has done it themselves. Thanks!
