I have heard that from a few guys on here about doing a little damage getting them apart. Hope the second is easier.

x2 first thing I thought was bad gas when I saw it had been sitting for that long. Definitely run that tank out and see if fresh gas helps. Gas can gel up within just a few weeks of it sitting.

Ehh. with them back in and hood shut, not much should be visable.

Wow, if this looks halfway decent when it gets back together...SEXY.

I did the BHLM a couple years ago. Make sure when you are sealing them back that you use a ton of sealant. I put 2 plus tubes of sealant and still had condensation in the mornings. I hated that so much I bought a second set of headlights and left them alone. It does look awesome. Just make sure they are sealed really good!

The biggest worry obviously. That factory stuff is nasty, but it's damn good. My thoughts are to try and actually re-use as much of it as possible.

I've got a tube of RTV silicone that I also plan on using in addition to trying to reuse as much of the OE stuff as possible.

The OE stuff wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't 10 pounds of it in each headlight. It is a PITA to get out!

    Yeah, it's pretty rough.

Here is my D/S HL. I did manage to nick this up a couple times but I can live with it, the P/S is not nicked up at all I think. I got the very outer edge when putting the bezel and lens back together and a small nick where the inside lens goes.

haha.... how about this... if mine looks better well will hook both them together and see who can pull the farthest, I'll even leave mine in 4x2. If you win you get them and my truck (seems like you could get a great deal), If I win I get them and throw down some $$$ for your time/labor?

My ex always said I liked my truck more than I liked her, I guess since she is my ex, she was right.

Did your buddy trade it in for a Tacoma? I would hope so after his butt got whipped by one.

My batteries died right as about to take some shots of the set. I'm recharging them, they don't take long.

I really, really wanna see what they look like on the truck but they still reek of RTV so I'm gonna let them air out.

Edit: I just went out and kinda wiggled the D/S light back on the truck to get an idea. I think I need a new pair of pants.

I think it's gonna rain. These puppies are spending the night in the house.
