Swapped out my '23 Trail Edition headlights with Toyota OEM TRD Premium (Pro style I think) headlights. Bought the lights from SparksParts for about 750.00 each. And I used a harness by PuppyPunter for 175.00. I provided him the details and he sent me the harness. The dealership was going to charge 3000+ for parts and install. And the parts would take weeks at a minimum to get in. So I just did it myself. Install was kind of a pain the ass, but again I am not super mechanically inclined. And I think there is an extra millimeter gap between the bumper and front quarter panel on both sides, but not sure. It looks like it is perfectly aligned, so not going to bother with it. The lights have a made a world of difference in function and style. Below are before and after pictures.

 

Nice job. I didn't install the base blockers on the DS18 tweeters although I have done that in other vehicles. Sounds good to me and I was working under the impression/assumption that since they are dedicated tweeters that the (also non-JBL) head unit should be handling that. But who knows? Can't hurt.

Having been to way too many concerts back in the day I don't know that my ears could tell the difference between the DS18s and those $1K ones.

I ran that in my 502rwh supercharged Svt cobra and raced it almost every weekend at the track running 1/4 miles PIR. Really these days though all the top shelf oils all do the job and it’s just a matter what makes you feel good and the color of course

does anyone have the thread on the front camera install that you can control with the mode button on your steering wheel?

 

Seat jackers came in.... install during lunch.... if it takes me over 15 mins I am turning in my ASE certification..... (if I had it)

How in the world do you keep the plastic lens on the instrument cluster so clean?

It's great stuff. I learned about this stuff when I worked for an herbicide spraying company. They sprayed with Bell 206 Jet Ranger helicopters (similar to military OH-58) and we used Novus on all the window and gauge plastics. Stuff is amazing. Novus has scratch remover versions as well, light scratch and heavy scratch.

Installed my ARB twin compressor on my Slee engine bay mount. Haha what a PITA. Seemed straightforward. I think I made it unnecessarily difficult, because I mounted the mount first and then mounted the compressor. If I were to do it again, I would definitely mount the compressor on the mount first before installing them mount. I installed the rocker power switch on the mount because I am not adding a front air locker.

Also washed her. Not sure how I feel about Armor All tire shine crap.

 

Can you send your SS3s back to diode and have them retrofit them with the non fog housing and regular mounting brackets? Also look into some Square1 designs frame caps. I have been running the Backwoods highlite w/ bull bar for 6-7 months and love it.

 

Definitely can tell the difference in sound quality after upgrading. I've been on the fence about the subaru tweeters for a while and your video, $70 price tag and Amazon next day delivery pushed me over the edge. I'm always down for 15 minute mods......

 

Added a flag. Guaranteed extra 13 hp and 23 lb-ft of torque!
