Ok so I think I messed up on something... I think I got overly excited to order my Suma mirrors that I wanted ALL the features, ie: integrated turn signals, blue tint and defrost, luckily there are on back order and I'll have time if I have to exchange them. My taco is a 2012, will I have to do some modifications in order to get the integrated turn signals and defroster to work? Has anyone here installed them on their 2nd Gen with those features?

Turn signals you should be fine. Your truck is probably prewired for them now. Just pop off a mirror and you'll see. As for defroster, I'm not sure.

There's a bunch of threads for the heated mirrors, doesn't seem overly difficult if you've done basic wiring and there's some different options for switches to look very OEM. I only ran the wires for it when I installed my spotter mirrors, haven't gotten around to finishing hooking them up to a switch. Here's one of the threads with a ton of info.

Oh wow thanks, I've skimmed through it and looks intimidating to DIY, at least for me, I never claimed to be an electrician... I think I'll exchange my Suma mirrors for just the blue tint and integrated turn signals, thanks again tho for the reply
