basically im looking for a tube bumper cause i want to keep the weight down and im broke and cant afford a beefy plate one.. so ive narrowed it down to either the all pro bumper or trail gear

    http://www.polyperformance.com/shop...Low-Profile-Toyota-Front-Bumpers-p-27339.html

i could make one but im impatient and if i mess up which i most likely would it would probably cost more time and materials and i definitely aint no pro welder either

the all-pro is already 499 +tax...might as well save a bit more and get a plate bumper, your already more than half way there if you already have the $500...

i like the relentless front plate bumper and i pm them a few weeks ago and they said they where coming out with a front bumper for 1st gens by the end of this month so im waiting on them...

hey good work recommending a plate bumper when the op specifically says he wants tube.

out of those two, i'd go with the trail gear.

also might want to consider a 4xInnovations bumper.

Yeah plate bumpers are cool and all but they are too heavy I'm trying to keep the weight down as best I can

It shouldn't be too hard.. but considering I've never welded or used the bender in my life I dunno how well it would turn out.. ill check into dom tubing prices tomorrow and see but ill get back to this tomorrow since I gotta get up for work in a few hours

Also I've seen 4xinnovations and I don't care for it at all and I can't stand stingers on bumpers they are way too tall

I'm going through this process as well... I would say TG because it is cheaper and made of stronger material. However, I do love the look of the All-pro. I know one thing--I will be waiting to see what Relentless has to offer at the end of the month before I purchase a new bumper.

well main reason #2 is i also have a tube bumper on the rear and it would match if i had one in the front. also with the money i save from buying a smaller tube bumper ill have more money for other cool things like...... a supercharger lol

Get the TG and weld a light bar to it! That's what I would do

actually i just remembered a friend has a contact with someone that works at a local steel yard i believe he mentioned that he could get 1.75x.120 dom tubing for like $2/ft which is one badass deal and i can buy enough to make like 5 bumpers for the prive of that all pro.

from what i understand the TG bumper is stronger because they use a higher grade tube. plus its a low profile bumper so it looks strange not bolted to the truck. if i dont build my own ill probably go with the TG.

heres a pic of some guy that rolled his truck resting on the stinger of the rock defense bumper. just to show that it isnt weak
