Mileage suffered a bit right after the OTT tune on ours - probably because I was experimenting with its new capabilities - but over time it "learned" the new dynamics and I hit 19 to 21 MPG on the highways and 15 to 18 in the city now. Runs how I expected it to from the factory. Still the best money I've spent on it.

    Smoked sequential turn signals installed.

Also ordered the Interior Outlet Upgrade Kit from Guild Outfitters. Trying to work up the courage to cut a hole in my trucks center console.

Great tires. I put a set of those on my kids truck and all I hear is him complaining that they won’t break loose anymore.

upload_2023-9-30_16-26-41.jpgupload_2023-9-30_16-27-13.jpgI lied. It’s gonna take more than one afternoon. All I got left is to cut out for the tie down holes.

Then I gotta build the other side

    Then paint

Replaced the stock Toyos with 265/70R-17 MICHELIN DEFENDER LTX M/S SL, going up from 65 to 70 for that whopping 1/2” lift. Vast improvement over the Toyos. Much smoother ride!
Thought it would increase MPGs. Nope. Only drawback so far is they pick up rocks (gravel) and sling them into the undercarriage at speed.

Costco had a good deal on them but they are very strict about only using factory size. And they called twice while installing to ask if I wanted white wall.

How do you like them so far? How quick is it to remove crossbars if you need to open the tonneau?

Took my 2023 in for the 15000 mile maintenance and asked them to turn off the seat belt chime. "Nope, can't do it, but if you go to parts and ask for a seat belt extender they will give you one for free." Picked it up today and now I can use my truck on my property without having to buckle the damn seat belt so I don't have to listen to that annoying sound!

Someone made the brackets for me, the front has a bit more space but the rear is a bit tight so I think on/off might be a struggle tbh, I’ll need to remove the back one more often as I put my trash cans back there for the local transfer station about twice a month. I’ll probably leave the rear off except for when I need it.

Ideally it’s just remove 4 bolts. But I need to secure washers on the inside so it’s just on and off. When I tightened it the first time without a washer the bars destroyed the paint on the brackets

but overall I’m pleased for now. Maybe I’ll find the whole ordeal annoying and find a hitch mounted solution to hold my trash cans. I wanted to be able to pack my truck and have a kayak for trips pretty bad. If I get a roof rack I may end up with an RTT in the back and the boat on top. But that’s a while away I need a garage to host the rtt most of the year

Got mine from Tire Rack. Had to send them an email saying I knew I was ordering a non-factory size; actually I think I got a phone call.

Make the vertical bolts/holes as large as possible. Use big washers or backing plates on rear side nuts.
