Repurposed an old fanny pack. Added some neoprene to the back and the tank straps to hold it.

 

Used some pelican cases for storage on the Africa Twin. I like to leave the side bags behind and I take the upper case off, then I can install one of my fly rod tubes across the case for fishing.

 

I really like those Africa Twins.

 

Today's fun project, maybe, very little motivation to be honest other than to do it before it gets cold.

There is a low pulsating sound from the underside that is either this or the notorious failed bushing for the front axle. My money is on the front end, but this is easier to replace and needs done anyway.

 

Ya traded the Goldwing in for it. I did get the DCT. I travel to just south of Fairplay on it, for fishing. There will be a new Corbin set put on it over the winter. When you get used to riding a couch you get a little spoiled.

 

Those couches do pretty good in the sand. I'd love to find a clapped out Wing for shenanigans.

Ever heard of the Canary Islands? Interesting fact, there are no canaries aside from the ones brought over as pets.
And the Virgin Islands, surprisingly enough, no canaries there either.

 

That didn't take long, which is good.
didn't solve the noise though, which is bad.

Still has some chunky grease in it.

ran it home with an impact to gudentite specs with some blue glue.

Need to borrow that bushing/bearing removal tool from someone.

 

Nice to see some bikes on here.
Picked up a Xr150 a couple months ago. Its not winning any races but its fun to bring along on camp trips.

Fave campsite. the beaver has been busy this year. Was hoping to see it, been awhile since I seen a beaver.

Should be a good spot for a first time camp site on the bike with the new hammock. Next year.


Leaves are still turning, bet they peak later this week and prolly gone next weekend.
